WEverb12: Compose

Since I haven't been blogging regularly for a while I thought I would take a little help by participating in WEverb12.  If you're interested in learning more about it you can read about it here.

Today's prompt is:

1: compose [CREATE]

Write a haiku for 2012 (bonus: write one for 2013)

Here are my attempts at haiku writing:

2012:

As tree lights twinkle,
Family, kitchen, and books
Remember the year.

2013:

Twelve months unwritten,
New memories to create.
Full of hope and love.
